All brushes, even boar hair brushes will tend to lose bristles. Before using your new brush, you will want spend a minute or two, working loose factory bristles from your brush. Then wash and work the loose bristles free from brush a second time. This will eliminate most of these loose bristles from showing up in your paint project and will remove natural oils from the bristles. Important:
Clean with soap and water but NEVER soak your boar hair brushes. Note:
Once boar hair brush is used for a wax brush, we would recommend to not use the brush as a paint brush, due to the wax coat left on the brush.
