Easy to apply, no strong smell, given a nice gray finish. I applied this over a pretty stark white chalk paint, only applying to one small area at a time-ish approximately 1 square foot or so, and then quickly buffed off within a couple of minutes as I did not want it to be a very thick/opaque layer. Remember, you can always add more! After the first application was finished I realized there was more than I wanted on the large open areas, so I uses Minwax finishing paste to sort of smear out and create a more overall even look while also removing wax from areas where I had applied too much. I am very happy with the end result! I will add pictures once I put the handles back on, but here are some I took during the process.
